The Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032:
The Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento #1032 provides young adult women an opportunity for personal growth, friendships and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs of children in our community. Funds raised from this event will be used for things such as: scholarships for high school senior women who are active in their community, “hands-on” projects throughout the year, our Fall, Spring, and Holiday project events for children in need, as well as our annual Children’s Shopping Spree event where we take underprivileged children back-to-school shopping for free clothes, backpacks, and school supplies.
Aging UP:
Aging UP focuses on the unmet needs of Sacramento region youth, ages 13-19, who have any experience in foster care. Aging UP accomplishes their mission through a unique combination of one-to-one mentoring, independent living skills education and positive recreation. These services are provided to youth who are currently in foster care or those who were at some point in their childhood and have gained permanency through reunification with biological family, adoption, or guardianship.
Fly Brave:
The Fly Brave Foundation’s mission is to empower individuals with autism, with a focus on employment, social skills, and living a healthy lifestyle. They offer free programs for children and adults with autism and their families, including vocational training, improv and public speaking workshops, fitness program and running clubs, art workshops, and social events (autism prom, swim party, karaoke night, etc.).
